Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • For the topping:
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced apples with ground cinnamon and granulated sugar. Transfer to a baking dish.
  2. In the same bowl, combine the oats, protein powder, almond flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cubed butter and use your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden and crispy and the apples are tender.
