Protein-Powdered Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or plain)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together.
- In another bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, eggs, honey or maple syrup, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
